Gaming Platform
Bonus Engine
The Bonus Engine works across all games and channels, whether those games are part of the INTRALOT Gaming Platform or are provided by third-party vendors. A single bonus can be applied and operate with a single game, all games, or any subset of offered games simultaneously.
Offers powerful, innovative functionality to marketing departments in their mission to attract, retain, and maximize players. These principles include universal scope, real-time results, and flexibility and extensibility. To achieve these goals, the Bonus Engine relies on modern technologies which include the Events Engine, the Player Segmentation Manager, and the use of dynamic rule sets.
Other dimensions of freedom include the way in which bonus parameters are decided, such as the bonus amount, the redemption requirements, and bonus expirations. To accommodate, from a platform perspective, all new creative concepts and ideas that cannot be anticipated, extensibility is just as important a design objective as flexibility. Every key part of the bonus flow provides a framework for new logic to be plugged in without requiring complex software development of large upgrades.
Rules
In order to achieve its high degree of flexibility, and to ensure that the Bonus Engine can accommodate unanticipated future requirements, the bonus system employs a modular architecture where the core business logic is contained within extensible rule sets. These rule sets are activated when needed to perform the bonus-related computations. When the built-in rule sets do not provide the exact logic needed by a marketing promotion, new rule sets are easily added.
Events
The system provides a built-in event mechanism with scripting capability and unlimited event definition. Events that have been triggered are recorded in the database and can be retrieved, for example a customer tried to make a withdrawal, the withdrawal was rejected and an automatic email was sent to explain the reason of rejection.
